New Year's Day in Milwaukee will remain cold, with cloudy skies and snow likely before 2 p.m., and a high near 18°F. Wind chill values are expected between -5 and 5°F, with light snow accumulations of up to half an inch, according to the NWS.
The NWS predicts no hazardous weather from Friday through next Wednesday. Friday will be sunny with a high near 22°F and wind chills between 0 and 10°F. Nights will remain mostly cloudy with temperatures in the mid-teens, gradually clearing later in the evening.
The NWS outlook shows a slight warming trend for Milwaukee. Sunday will be partly cloudy with a high near 28°F, while Monday and Tuesday are expected to reach highs of 37°F and 41°F. Evening lows will be around 30°F. No extreme conditions are forecast, and spotter activation is not expected.
