
Milwaukee authorities are actively searching for a suspect involved in a tragic hit-and-run collision that claimed the life of a 34-year-old driver. The crash, as reported by WISN, occurred near the intersection of North 76th Street and West Glendale Avenue in the Columbus Park neighborhood, around 9 p.m. on Thursday. As per the Milwaukee police, the driver being sought was heading north on 76th Street when they struck another vehicle and subsequently fled without stopping.
Following the crash, the driver of the second vehicle, now identified as Meng Kue, was pronounced deceased at the scene. FOX6 News records indicate the victim's car was traveling east on Glendale Avenue when the collision occurred. As the search continues, Milwaukee police are urging anyone who might have information to come forward to help find the individual responsible. Local residents have been asked to share any relevant details they might have to assist in the ongoing investigation.
Bell Ambulance, taking to social media, expressed condolences over the loss of Kue, whose passing was confirmed initially by the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office. The unresolved nature of the case, with a suspect still at large, has prompted a call for public assistance from the authorities.
