
Early this morning, a minivan crashed into the Shadyside Medical Building at UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, causing an unsettling interruption to the stillness of the night. As per a report from WPXI, the incident occurred along Centre Avenue at around 1:30 a.m., when the vehicle penetrated the facility, traveling approximately 20 feet inside the structure linked to the hospital.
Following the collision, emergency responders were quick to the scene, with dispatchers confirming, as reported by CBS News Pittsburgh, that one individual was transported to the hospital. However, the gravity of the injuries sustained remains uncertain. Within two hours, the van was removed and towed from the scene.
