Montgomery County’s radio show En Sintonía con el Concejo airs today, Jan. 9, at 2 p.m. on WILC 900AM and streams on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Amazon Music, the Montgomery County announced.

The broadcast will feature psychotherapist Gaby Romo sharing tips for setting realistic New Year’s resolutions and managing stress, while Luis Aguirre of the Latino Health Initiative will discuss adopting healthy routines for flu season and overall wellness.

Dr. Aguirre will discuss prevention, early detection, and long-term wellbeing, including regular checkups and proactive family health measures.

The show will also highlight Montgomery County’s new Bring Your Own Bag Law, effective Jan. 1, which aims to reduce plastic waste. Councilmember Kate Stewart sponsored the legislation, approved unanimously by the Council. The program continues to provide a platform for the Latino community to share views and ask questions on local issues.

Airing each Friday, the show informs residents about county programs and local issues. Host Marcela Rodriguez, along with weekly guests, discusses matters before the Council and engages the Latino community in governance and community initiatives.
