Montgomery Township Police Department recently broadened its ranks with a new recruit during a public ceremony. Recruit Police Officer Hannah Kloberdanz was sworn in at the Board of Supervisors Meeting held on January 5, an event confirmed by the department's social media channels this week.
A local through and through, Officer Kloberdanz's roots run deep in the Hatboro-Horsham area, having earned her high school diploma from Hatboro-Horsham High School. Her commitment to service extended beyond her hometown as she went on to enlist in the United States Marine Corps. As an Aviation Technician, Kloberdanz rose quickly to the rank of Corporal across a notable five-year tenure, earning an honorable discharge upon completion of her service.
Her journey to wearing the badge was marked by perseverance and dedication, culminating in her graduation from the Montgomery County Community College Police Academy on December 10, 2025. As revealed in a post on the Montgomery Township Police Department Facebook page, Kloberdanz has continued to embed herself in the fabric of the community, both as a parent sharing her love for the great outdoors with her two sons and a volunteer with Wags Rescue.
