New Castle County Police are renewing a public request for information in the unsolved 2004 killing of Tracy L. Broadus. According to the New Castle County Police's Facebook post, Broadus, who was 16 at the time, was shot on January 17, 2004, in the 1500 block of South Stonebridge Boulevard at the Stonebridge Townhouses. Officers responded to the scene around 6:40 p.m. and found Broadus with a gunshot wound. He later died from his injuries.
Witnesses reported seeing three possible suspects leave the area in a dark-colored, four-door vehicle. No arrests have been made, and the case remains unsolved.
The New Castle County Police Criminal Investigations Unit and Cold Case Unit continue to investigate and are asking anyone with information to come forward. Tips can be submitted anonymously through Delaware Crime Stoppers, which is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.
