Officers from the North Las Vegas Police Department (NLVPD) participated in Law Enforcement Appreciation Day at Police Memorial Park, honoring the service and commitment of local law enforcement, according to a post on NLVPD’s social media.
The event allowed families and community members to meet officers, learn about specialized units, and build stronger connections with the department. “Events like this are more than a gathering, they recognize the dedication, sacrifice, and commitment of the men and women who serve and protect our communities every day,” NLVPD said.
Law Enforcement Appreciation Day is observed nationwide to reflect on the roles officers play in public safety and to foster dialogue between police and the communities they serve.
