According to CBS Chicago, the man, described by police as 30 years old, was outside between Fillmore and Roosevelt when the shooting erupted. A person in the passing black car fired several rounds, hitting him multiple times before speeding off. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition.
