A weekend on San Antonio’s North Side took a serious turn after 16-year-old Isabella Ramirez was reported missing on Saturday, and deputies are now asking the public to help bring her home.
According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, Isabella was last seen in the 13300 block of Magnolia Brook. Deputies say she did not have a cell phone with her when she went missing, which raises the stakes for finding her quickly.
Isabella is described as about 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing roughly 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. As reported by News 4 San Antonio, deputies say she was last seen wearing a brown hoodie, gray sweatpants and black slide shoes.
Anyone who sees Isabella or has information about where she might be is asked to call the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office at 210-335-6000 or email the Missing Persons Unit at [email protected].
What deputies say
Deputies with the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office say the missing-person report was filed after Isabella did not return home from the North Side location on Magnolia Brook.
In a reminder attached to the notice, the sheriff’s office points out that “anyone who harbors or hides a reported missing person could face criminal charges,” underscoring that this is a formal missing-person investigation, not a situation to be handled quietly or informally.
How to help
Investigators are asking anyone who was in the Magnolia Brook area on Saturday to think back and check for anything that might help, even if it seems minor. That includes neighbors who may have doorbell camera recordings and drivers who might have dashcam footage from around the time Isabella went missing.
Tips can be sent to the Missing Persons Unit by email at [email protected], and callers can reach the unit through the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office main line at 210-335-6000.
The search remains active, and investigators say they plan to release updates as new information comes in. Residents on the North Side are being urged to stay alert, review any recordings they may have from Saturday, and report anything that could help move the investigation forward.
