Orange City residents can gear up for the Mayor's Fitness Challenge, starting in two weeks to support local health goals. According to a social media post from the city, the eight-week program will begin on January 26, with the first event scheduled for 5 p.m. at Wava Hall, 200 N. Holly Ave.

Participants will begin the challenge with a weigh-in and measurements to establish personal benchmarks. The entry fee is $25, and the top three men and top three women who achieve the highest percentage of body weight loss will receive cash prizes.
