Fire Chief Bruce Elliott provided details on the precarious episode, indicating a noticeable shift in the drop ceiling as early on as Tuesday night. "A shift in the drop ceiling was first noticed Tuesday night and again Wednesday morning," Elliott told WKYC. By overnight, a part of the roof had collapsed inward by approximately one foot in the affected area.
