Pasadena police are asking for help finding a person of interest after a shooting on January 4 at the La Serena Apartments. A mother and her two-year-old son were hurt but are recovering. Police released surveillance video from the apartment complex and say the investigation is ongoing, according to the Pasadena Police Department on their Facebook page.

A shooting happened on January 4 at the La Serena Apartments on Shaver Street near Fairmont Parkway in Pasadena, as per FOX 26 Houston. Police shared a surveillance video showing one person of interest walking through the area. The person has black dreadlocks and was wearing a white shirt, gray hoodie, black pants, and gray shoes. Authorities have not identified the individual, and no one else in the video is a person of interest.

Residents and community groups have repeatedly pressed officials to address safety concerns at apartment complexes along the corridor.
