The Philadelphia Police Department is actively seeking assistance from the public in the search for Nasiyhah Stewart, a missing 16-year-old. According to information provided by the police, Nasiyhah was last observed on January 27, 2026, at around 10:00 PM on the 2200 block of North 7th Street in Philadelphia. Concern is growing for her welfare given the time elapsed since her last sighting.
Described as a young Black female, the attire Nasiyhah was wearing when she vanished includes a black winter coat, black yoga pants, and sneakers uniquely patterned in silver, white, and black, made by New Balance. The public is requested to remain vigilant and to please swiftly report any sightings or information that could aid in safely locating Nasiyhah. Reports can be directly made to the East Detectives Division of the Philadelphia Police Department by calling 215-686-3243, as per a Philadelphia Police Department announcement.
A statement released by the Philadelphia Police Department detailed the particulars of Nasiyhah's last known whereabouts and appearance. The absence of a youth from their home environment is a dire incident, one not taken lightly by law enforcement or the community.
The police have thus far released limited information about the circumstances leading up to Nasiyhah's disappearance. Community members and the press alike are hoping to unambiguously confirm that the young girl is safe and to facilitate a quick reunion with her loved ones. Meanwhile, the authorities have encouraged the residents of Philadelphia to become guardians not just of their kin but also of the vulnerable among them who might just need to be seen.
