Pinellas County park-goers can look forward to a more streamlined experience as a new online reservation system is set to roll out for County Parks & Conservation Resources. According to a county announcement, starting from Monday, March 2, the fresh interface will be handling all reservations and registrations for county programs, campsites, shelters, and events that require signing up.
However, in the lead-up to this tech upgrade, there's a slight hiccup to account for—the current system will be taken down for maintenance from February 21 through March 1 to allow for the transfer of data to the new system. During this period, all reservation services will be unavailable. Officials have planned for the seamless creation of new user accounts for those with active reservations on or after the launch date. Others will be prompted to create fresh accounts upon their first sign-in to the updated system.
The new system promises greater accessibility, offering full mobile compatibility and support for all major credit cards. For users on the edge of their seats for popular programs, the platform will also send automated notifications to those who land on waitlists—ensuring they stay in the loop.
