According to WPXI, the ordeal ended with one man in custody and a scene of significant police activity, starting just after 4 a.m. Law enforcement units from Swissvale, Pittsburgh, and the state police converged on the area, rushing into action on Jumonville Street before apprehending the individual.
Drones were seen overhead as the arrest occurred, indicative of the advanced tactics employed by law enforcement in tracking the suspect. A police cruiser and a Ford Expedition, evidencing collision damage, were later towed from the site. The motivation behind the significant response hasn't been fully explained, but Pittsburgh Police did confirm that the incident in the city was a result of a situation that originated from Swissvale.
