Haywire in Plano is flipping its third-floor rooftop into an alpine-style escape called Après Haywire, with a kickoff party this Thursday and a month-long run through Feb. 8. According to Haywire Restaurants, the kickoff party runs this Thursday from 6–9 p.m., and Après Haywire will continue through Feb. 8 with seasonal cocktails and comfort-food specials poured and plated in the afternoons and evenings. Rooftop seating is first-come, first-served, while RSVPs and event reservations are available through the restaurant's events page.

Haywire is loading up the space with interactive bells and whistles, including a hat bar, a branding-iron station and live DJ music, and is teaming with High West Whiskey for tastings during the kickoff. The first 50 guests in the door at the opening will score a complimentary branded luggage tag, and there is a prize on the line for the best ski-themed outfit, according to CultureMap Dallas.

Haywire Restaurants notes that the pop-up menu leans into hearty winter fare, with elk tacos, a brothy venison chili and a Barbacoa Mac & Cheese Bowl, plus shareable treats like a s’mores board and group-friendly fun such as a Shot Ski. On the cocktail side, you will find warming signatures including a Cranberry Toddy and a Spiced Pear Spritz alongside house favorites like the Haywire Old Fashioned.
Decor is geared toward a lodge-style vibe, with faux-fur throws, fireside seating and fire pits set up for what the team describes as "Instagram-worthy" moments and photo backdrops.
