Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene around 11:40 p.m., as reported by WTAE. The intensity of the blaze prompted a response from multiple firefighters; however, despite the severity of the situation, there were no initial reports of injuries.
In the aftermath of the disaster, Lucky B's reached out to their community via a Facebook post on Monday morning. The restaurant assured the public that "everyone is safe and no one was hurt," but also acknowledged the hardship ahead, stating it would be "closed for a while." In a heartfelt message, the restaurant conveyed the emotional weight of the incident, "This breaks our hearts, not only for our customers and community, but especially for our employees. These people put their hearts and souls into making our small tavern what it is. Please keep them all in your thoughts while we continue to figure out our next steps," as WPXI provided.
