Forest Ridge Park will offer two bicycle-focused programs this spring, according to an announcement from Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources.

The "Mountain Bike Basics" course is designed for beginners or those looking to refresh their skills. Sessions will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on March 7, and April 18. The course focuses on fundamental techniques for riding trails safely and confidently, as per the City of Raleigh's announcement.

A second program, "Trailside Maintenance," will run from 1 to 3 p.m. on the same dates. This course teaches participants how to handle basic bike repairs while on the trail.

Both programs are open to participants ages 14 and older. Fees range from $12 to $41, depending on the course. Registration is available through RecLink. Additional details can be found on the Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources website.
