A repeat offender with prior DWI charges was arrested following a minor traffic incident. Deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded last year to a collision on the 23200 block of the North Freeway and encountered the driver, James Hunter, who displayed signs of intoxication. The 2025 investigation resulted in Hunter’s arrest for Driving While Intoxicated, according to a Facebook post on Precinct 4’s official Facebook page.
Further review of Hunter’s record revealed a prior DWI conviction and an active Harris County warrant for a charge of Terroristic Threat. “James Hunter was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for Driving While Intoxicated and the open warrant. His total bond was set at $3,020.00 out of County Court 13 and 14,” stated Constable Mark Herman in the same Facebook post.
