
The Town of Rolesville has officially named Chandra Wright as its new Human Resources Director, a role she is set to assume on February 9. Wright comes to the position with more than two decades of experience in human resources leadership, and a rich background in advancing organizational performance and cultivating engaged, strategic workplaces, the Town of Rolesville announced.
Having navigated the intricacies of local government HR departments, Chandra Wright carries her wealth of knowledge from previous senior roles in nearby Towns of Fuquay-Varina and Wake Forest where her initiatives in talent acquisition and benefits administration, among other areas, have marked her career she has a reputation for her collaborative leadership style, an approach that seamlessly merges human resources practices with broader organizational aspirations. Wright's educational credentials are not to be overlooked; she holds dual Bachelor's degrees, one in Social Work and the other in Business Administration, alongside esteemed certifications from the Society for Human Resource Management and the HRCI.
In her free time, Wright relishes the moments spent with her two teenage children, and takes to the kitchen to explore her passion for cooking and baking, when not engaging with the Raleigh-Durham area's vibrant restaurant scene. Her pastime activities include diving into a good book or listening to an array of podcasts, according to a statement obtained by the Town of Rolesville.
In her new role, she will support the Town of Rolesville’s goals and growth while promoting a service-focused and professional work environment. Wright will oversee the human resources department, which is responsible for personnel policies and the secure maintenance of employee records.
