Temperatures are currently hovering at 27°F (-3°C).
Tonight's conditions are to remain largely unchanged, maintaining the widespread haze with a nighttime low forecast situating itself at around 24 degrees. This relative calm in wind activity will carry over into the weekend, with the NWS predicting sunny days and a high of 43 degrees for Saturday. Slight shifts in wind direction may occur but are expected to be gentle, never straying far from calmness.
Light and variable winds will continue to accompany the haze, which refuses to lift from Salt Lake City's skies, extending further into Sunday. According to the National Weather Service, the day is predicted to boast a high nearing 47 degrees, with the calm wind persisting throughout.
Observations from the National Weather Service underline that, as of their last update at 7:05 AM MST, the barometric pressure was recorded at 30.35 in (1027.77 mb) with a dewpoint of 25°F (-4°C). A pattern of clear nights is anticipated to steadily increase to an overnight low of 28 by Monday. This trend is set to gradually bring warmer temperatures, reaching near 49 degrees by Tuesday, and looking to touch a high near 51 degrees midweek.
