
San Antonio can expect a variety of weather conditions this coming week, with forecasts predicting sunny skies followed by a possible chance of showers midweek. According to the National Weather Service, today San Antonio will experience sunny weather with highs nearing 56 degrees and blustery north northeast winds at 5 to 10 mph, punctuated with gusts that could reach up to 25 mph.
Tonight anticipates a mostly clear sky with the temperature dropping to around 29 degrees, and although winds from the north at 5 to 10 mph will become lighter and variable in the evening, gusts might still reach around 20 mph, Sunday promises more sunshine and a slight uptick in temperature with a high near 62, as calm winds shift southwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Looking ahead to Martin Luther King Day, conditions are forecasted to remain pleasant with sunny skies and a high around 64 degrees; light winds will prevail, turning south southeast at around 5 mph later in the day, Monday night, however, may bring a change as the skies are expected become mostly cloudy with a low near 40 degrees, and winds will be east at around 5 mph before calming down in the evening.
The weather on Tuesday should remain partly sunny with high temperatures hovering near 60 degrees, calm winds are forecasted to move east southeast around 5 mph in the afternoon yet come Wednesday, there's a 30 percent chance of showers amidst mostly cloudy skies and a high near 66, calm winds will become south around 5 mph in the morning which could bring in the unsettled weather.
In the latter half of the week, conditions are expected to improve again, "Mostly sunny, with a high near 66," as stated by the National Weather Service for Thursday. While Thursday night may be partly cloudy with a low around 42 degrees, Friday is looking to continue the trend of partly sunny days, with a high near 61.
