The Seattle Police Department's (SPD) Arson Bomb Squad is asking for the community's help in a recent arson investigation. According to the SPD Blotter, on the morning of December 25, 2025, authorities responded to a fire at Cinnaholic Bakery, located on East Pike Street. The Seattle Fire Department quickly took action and managed to contain the damage which affected the exterior of the establishment.
Investigations by the Fire Marshall concluded that the incident was not an accident, but a deliberate act, ignited by cardboard set ablaze outside the bakery. Although first responders didn't encounter any suspects at the scene, the SPD has since acquired video surveillance that showcases an individual in the area at the time of the fire. Unfortunately, the images are not clear, making identification challenging.
The SPD has released these videos to the public, seeking assistance in identifying the person responsible. Details regarding the characteristics of the individual have not been disclosed, as the quality of the footage remains an obstacle.
