A domestic disturbance call in Seguin, Texas, led to a criminal investigation. On Sunday, Guadalupe County deputies responded to a report of a domestic disturbance with a firearm on the 700 block of Cordova Loop. Joshua Ricketts, 42, was apprehended while trying to flee, according to FOX San Antonio.
Ricketts was arrested after deputies stopped his vehicle. A search found multiple handguns, a large amount of narcotics, and a significant amount of cash, as reported by KSAT. During the arrest, he damaged a patrol vehicle and briefly accessed a rifle, which was secured without injury. It is unclear if the rifle was on him or inside the vehicle.
Ricketts was arrested on at least 10 charges, including drug offenses, illegal carrying of a weapon, money laundering, criminal mischief, and assault, per Guadalupe County court records. Deputies took control of the situation, and details about the amount of drugs or money found have not been released. The investigation is ongoing.
