The San José Police Department (SJPD) is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a man involved in an incident of vandalism and battery at Peter's Bakery on Alum Rock Avenue last month. According to the San José Police Department, on December 17, 2025, a male suspect became violent after an employee refused to purchase his products, leading to him damaging property and assaulting a female patron who tried to record the attack.
The event unfolded when the unidentified man, described as being in his fifties with a medium athletic build, standing between 5'8" and 5'10", was refused service. Wearing a black and orange hat with the letter "G," the suspect, who proceeded to create havoc inside the business, and a woman who intervened, were assaulted by the suspect. While the suspect is still at large, an accurate description has been provided to assist in his identification. Sporting a navy blue puffer vest and blue jeans, complemented by gray shoes featuring white soles, the suspect's last known attire is distinctive.
