Snohomish Regional Fire & Rescue has kicked off training for its newest recruit class, 26-01. According to the Snohomish Regional Fire & Rescue, the 26 recruits are currently in the pre-academy phase, where they are learning the fundamentals of firefighting and preparing for the physical and mental challenges of the full academy.
The pre-academy serves as a foundation, emphasizing quick mastery of essential skills to ensure safe and effective performance in emergencies. SRFR highlighted the importance of this early training in shaping recruits into a cohesive, capable firefighting team.
As the class progresses, the department expressed pride in welcoming the recruits and anticipation for their development. The focus remains on building core skills, teamwork, and readiness for the demanding work that lies ahead in protecting the community.
