According to a recent St. Johns County social media post, the community saved over one million gallons in a single month by adopting water-saving practices and adjusting their irrigation routines, setting an example for other neighborhoods.
The amount saved—equivalent to nearly two Olympic-sized swimming pools—represents a significant achievement. St. Johns County noted on Facebook that changes like these at home can have a meaningful impact on overall water resources. “Thank you for leading by example and showing how St. Johns County can do more with less,” the Facebook post stated.
