
The City of St. Louis is opening its doors at the Yeatman-Liddell Middle School for a crucial Tornado Recovery Community Meeting and accompanying FREE Resource Fair on January 20, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This gathering is zeroing in on the theme of Private Property Assistance, providing residents the chance to apply for various recovery programs and engage directly with city officials as well as the recovery team.
Accordingh to the City of St. Louis, citizens who have been impacted by the recent tornadoes will have the opportunity to not just obtain direct support but also to reach out and connect with those who might be able to assist them to navigate the aftermath. The event is a kickoff for the year and is part of a series, with subsequent meetings scheduled for February 17 and March 17. It's an effort to continue the support for the community as it rebuilds and recovers.
During the resource fair portion of the event, attendees will be able to apply for recovery assistance programs in person, and representatives from various city departments will be available to answer questions about the recovery process and explain the resources available to help residents rebuild their lives and their homes.
The City of St. Louis announcement also urged local residents to "save the date for more community meetings" on upcoming dates, indicating an ongoing commitment to provide recurring support and resources throughout the recovery process.
