
The Statesville Police Department was represented at the 31st Annual MLK Community Prayer Breakfast and Day of Service by its Junior Ambassadors. Tiffany Dubon, one of the ambassadors, delivered the opening remarks at the event, which brought together community leaders, city officials, and residents to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Standing before the audience, Dubon highlighted the importance of service, unity, and justice within the community. "Her words reflected maturity, compassion, and a strong commitment to the values Dr. King championed," the department noted in a social media post. Her remarks emphasized the ongoing relevance of Dr. King’s teachings and the role young leaders can play in promoting these principles.
The Junior Ambassadors’ participation showcased the involvement of youth in civic engagement and public service. The Statesville Police Department acknowledged the Martin Luther King Partnership Committee for hosting the event and providing a platform to highlight voices that encourage positive community action.
