Residents in Statesville experienced a temporary disruption in contacting police after the Statesville Police Department’s administrative and non-emergency phone lines went down earlier today.
In a Statesville Police Department's Post, the department said the city’s non-emergency number, 704-878-3406, was affected, but 911 services remained operational for emergencies.
Police later announced that all phone lines had been restored. The department did not provide a cause for the outage.
