Communication lines in Stillwater have been restored. The local police department has confirmed that their non-emergency number is now functioning. The earlier disruption, which temporarily affected the main line, was resolved by late evening, according to a social media post from the Stillwater Police Department.
During the outage, residents were advised to use 911 for urgent police, fire, or medical needs. Officials stated that emergency lines remained fully operational. The cause of the technical difficulties has not been disclosed.
The Police Department acknowledged the disruption and stated that it will notify the community once all services are fully restored.
