A 53-year-old man, Nick Stevenson, has been arrested in Oregon and returned to Las Vegas. According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police and News 3 LV, Stevenson was extradited in November 2025 and booked into the Clark County Detention Center on suspicion of open murder and other charges.
A man reported being shot at by another car after midnight on October 17, 2025, near Lindell and Robindale roads. The chase ended in a crash that killed 38-year-old Daisha Ketchum. The Clark County Coroner’s Office said her death was caused by multiple blunt force injuries, with the manner of death undetermined. The suspect, Nick Stevenson, was arrested by Oregon State Police nearly 3 weeks later, as stated by FOX5 Vegas.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Fatality Analysis Reporting System, have classified Daisha Ketchum’s death as a traffic fatality. Investigators from the homicide and Collision Investigation sections are continuing their work. Nick Stevenson faces charges including murder and attempted murder with a deadly weapon, vehicle theft, and gun theft. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for February 12, as per 8 News Now.
