The Tampa Convention Center will receive a new LED display at the Franklin Street entrance, starting on Monday. The twin-sided display will be installed to enhance the building’s exterior.
According to the City of Tampa, during installation, the sidewalk adjacent to the Franklin Street entrance will be closed from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Sunday. The entrance to the convention center will remain open, and the sidewalk will reopen during nighttime hours. Pedestrians can use alternative routes through the building or nearby stairs and crosswalks, including ADA-accessible paths.
The project is being completed in partnership with Xpodigital, a digital signage company. The LED installation is expected to be finished by the end of the work period, with minimal disruption to visitors and pedestrians.
