Early Sunday morning, Hillsborough County deputies arrested Ricardo Pereira Gamez, 31, and Luis Enrique Sifontes Broche, 30, following a burglary at Mid-Atlantic Roofing Supply in Tampa. The department’s Aviation Unit assisted in coordinating efforts between air and ground officers. The suspects were caught burglarizing the property, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies arrived at the scene around 4:10 a.m., shortly after the burglary was reported, and immediately arrested Gamez and Broche. Investigators recovered approximately $12,000 worth of stolen roofing materials from the suspects.

Pereira Gamez and Sifontes Broche face multiple felony charges, including Burglary of an Unoccupied Structure While Wearing a Mask, Possession of Burglary Tools, Trespass in an Unoccupied Structure or Conveyance, and Third-Degree Grand Theft valued between $10,000 and $20,000.

Details of the suspects’ motive and method are still under investigation. The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Aviation Unit assisted in the arrest. The sheriff’s office is asking anyone with additional information to come forward.
