The calm winds will see a shift to northwest around 5 mph after midnight. Saturday's forecast anticipates a 40 percent chance of showers, mainly after the morning hours, with temperatures peaking near 58 before a decline sets in. The wind is expected to pick up, getting breezy with gusts as high as 30 mph.
The gusty conditions are set to persist into Saturday night, with wind chill values potentially dropping as low as 25 degrees. As the weekend progresses, Sunday will offer mostly sunny skies but cooler temperatures, a high near 48, with the northwest wind at 11 to 13 mph, accompanied by gusts that could reach 21 mph.
