ATCEMS crews were called to reports of a shooting at Park Place at Loyola around 2:20 p.m., according to CBS Austin. Emergency personnel treated the teen at the scene before transporting the patient to a trauma facility, the outlet reported.
"The victim was taken to a trauma facility with injuries that are not expected to be life-threatening," ATCEMS told CBS Austin. The station added that the Austin Police Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
