Wednesday evening at the Westfield Galleria at Roseville ended with three teens in handcuffs after what police describe as a robbery inside the Macy's store. The group allegedly grabbed clothing, fragrances and a bag while loss-prevention staff tried to intervene, and investigators say one juvenile punched an employee during the confrontation. The suspects then took off in a silver two-door Honda Civic before officers later found a matching vehicle parked at the Bass Pro Shops in Rocklin.
Arrests and charges
Roseville police told CBS Sacramento that officers were called to the Macy's around 5:20 p.m. and detained three suspects: an 18-year-old man and two juveniles, ages 16 and 17. The adult suspect was identified as Roman Pocklingtonsetter, 18. According to police, all three were arrested on suspicion of robbery, conspiracy and organized retail theft. Pocklingtonsetter was booked into the South Placer Jail, while the two younger suspects were taken to juvenile hall.

Replica rifle allegedly taken, Rocklin police probe
Investigators later learned the same group allegedly stole a replica rifle from the Bass Pro Shops shortly before they were detained, and Rocklin police are handling that part of the case, according to CBS Sacramento. Officers said they found all three suspects inside the parked vehicle, along with an unrelated person, before placing the trio into custody.
Retail theft remains a persistent problem
Local authorities have been leaning into retail theft enforcement, and a December crackdown dubbed Operation Grinch crackdown led to dozens of arrests and roughly $14,200 in recovered merchandise, illustrating Placer County's ongoing effort to disrupt organized shoplifting crews.
