The Medina County Sheriff's Office has made significant headway in the investigation of the burglary at the home of Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders. According to a press release from the Sheriff's office, three suspects in connection with the November 2025 break-in have been apprehended, with a fourth still on the loose, carrying an active arrest warrant against them. The crime occurred simultaneously as Sanders was busy making his NFL debut against the Baltimore Ravens on Nov. 16, 2025. The Sheriff's statement detailed that the suspects entered the home at around 6:46 p.m., and were seen leaving with roughly $200,000 worth of Sanders' belongings just 12 minutes later, as noted in a report by Fox News Digital.
Sheriff’s Captain Eric Bors announced yesterday the arrest of the three suspects, stating that their identities have yet to be publicly disclosed. During the heist, the surveillance video caught the culprits wearing masks and gloves, and they were seen to carefully navigate the property using cell phone flashlights. The Sheriff's Office provided further insights, confirming the suspects ransacked various areas, including a bedroom and an office within the house, as obtained by Fox News. Despite the setback, Sanders remained unflustered, as he said in an interview, "I’m in a mental space now to where it’s not too much that could faze me, honestly. And none of my jewelry got took, anyway," Sanders said at the time. "So, you know, it’s just caught slipping. You know, it happens."

In recent incidents from the past year, the homes of Kansas City Chiefs star players Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, and Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow were also subject to break-ins.
