Starting January 21, Glenwood Drive will undergo sanitary lateral replacements by Northeast Ohio Trenching Services. The focus will be the stretch between Ridgewood Drive and East Idlewood Drive, with construction equipment parked on the south side. A flagger will be on site to direct traffic during working hours, reminding everyone to exercise caution and heed signs, "Please use caution and follow all posted signs and directions," according to the City of Twinsburg, Ohio - Government announcement. Weather permitting, this project is supposed to take about 3 weeks.
The following week, starting on January 26, Fioritto Construction will move into the Liberty Road corridor, working from Neille Lane to Post Road, to install culvert extensions aimed at improving roadway safety. This task will see equipment lined up along the east side of the road and the use of temporary traffic signals while work is ongoing. By the end of the week, two-way traffic on Shepard Road is set to reopen, marking a temporary pause in works. The city outlines spring plans for the intersection, which include traffic signal improvements and repaving operations with fresh asphalt.
