In the City of Vallejo, a case that grabbed headlines last year seems to have reached a turning point. Two juveniles suspected of a fatal shooting have now turned themselves in to authorities. The incident, which occurred on Carolina Street, resulted in the death of an adult male victim, discovered unresponsive by Vallejo Police Department officers on September 11, 2025, after reports of gunfire. He was later pronounced dead at the scene, having sustained at least one gunshot wound, as originally detailed in a social media post from the Vallejo Police Department.
Following an intensive investigation by the Vallejo Police Department’s Detective Division, two juveniles were identified and subsequently charged with murder by the Solano County District Attorney's Office. Warrants were issued for their arrest in December. Pursuing to seek justice, one suspect surrendered himself at the Vallejo Police Department last Friday, immediately being transported and booked into the Solano County Juvenile Detention Facility. Two days later, his alleged accomplice followed suit, resulting in both suspects being in custody and awaiting legal proceedings.
