Sunday night forecasts report "A chance of rain and snow showers before 7pm. Partly cloudy," while highs on Sunday reach the mid-to-upper 40s before cooler nights set in.
Monday and Tuesday bring sunny skies with highs in the low 40s, but midweek may see more clouds and a 30 percent chance of nighttime rain. Later in the week, mixed precipitation returns with Thursday night warnings of "A 30 percent chance of snow," and lows dipping into the mid-20s before partly sunny days close the week.
The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the New York City area, but no major hazardous weather is expected in the coming days. A Gale Warning is in effect for mariners from Sunday evening to early Monday morning due to strong winds over the water.
