Families, survivors and supporters can now literally set their messages in stone at the former Route 91 Harvest Festival grounds, as commemorative pavers go on sale for the planned Forever One Memorial at the south end of the Las Vegas Strip. The engraved bricks will line the memorial’s Path of Remembrance and carry brief, personal inscriptions, turning a two-acre parcel that has largely sat unchanged since the Oct. 1, 2017 mass shooting that killed 58 people into a permanent place of tribute, as reported by FOX5.
Organizers have outlined the ordering options on the official site. A 4×12 paver costs $500 and an 8×12 paver runs $1,000, with a limited menu of icons and tight character limits to keep messages short and focused. The site also breaks out the tax-deductible portion of each purchase and notes that pavers ordered before the memorial’s dedication will be installed during the initial construction phase, while later purchases will be added in groups over time. Design and site
The Forever One concept, created by JCJ Architecture, centers on a 58-foot Tower of Light, a Remembrance Ring and a community plaza that together form an infinity-shaped plan intended to honor both victims and survivors. Fundraising and timeline
Organizers put the total cost of the tribute at more than $40 million and are actively raising money both for construction and for an endowment to maintain the site. The Clark County Commission has approved a $1 million grant to support the Vegas Strong Fund’s planning work, according to the Clark County announcement. Officials say they are aiming to break ground in mid-2026 and open the memorial on Oct. 1, 2027, a timeline that lines up with earlier coverage noting the groundbreaking set for 2026.

Every inscription is reviewed by the memorial team to ensure it reflects themes of “love, remembrance and healing,” and social media handles are explicitly off-limits.
