Following a call about a suspicious person, deputies in Constable Mark Herman's Office made an arrest in the 4700 block of FM 1960 Road West, uncovering a wanted felon. The incident occurred on January 20 when officers were dispatched to investigate the situation that eventually led them to detain Kevin Jordan, according to a report by the precinct's social media accounts.
The man initially refused to give authorities his identity, prompting a deeper investigation. He provided fake IDs and mentioned Constable Mark Herman’s Office. Authorities later identified him as Jordan, wanted for felony fraud, drug possession, and misdemeanor theft.
Deputies discovered that Jordan had also recently stolen a tablet. Constable Mark Herman’s social media stated, “Kevin Jordan was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the open warrants and charged with Theft.” Bond has not yet been set by the 177th District and County Court 16.
