
After over a year of investigations and the cooperative effort of multiple law enforcement agencies, a major break has occurred in the case of Jessica Dickman's untimely death. The Perkins Township Police Department announced on social media that Jacob Dively, a 44-year-old man from Warren, Ohio, has been indicted and arrested on numerous charges, including involuntary manslaughter and trafficking in drugs. This development comes after the case was handed over from the retiring Detective Alexander to Detective Dylan Smith, who persevered through the complex web of clues.
According to the official Perkins Township Police Department Facebook post, the success of this investigation owes a great deal to the collaboration between the Perkins Township PD and the Howland Township PD, Weathersfield Township PD, Niles PD, along with the Erie County Sheriff's Office. Moreover, Dively faces multiple indictments, which include "involuntary manslaughter," "corrupting another with drugs," "trafficking in a Fentanyl-related compound," and "trafficking in drugs."
