Wilson County deputies put out wanted photos of a local couple on Wednesday, and it did not take long for the story to come full circle. By that night, the Sheriff's Office says the pair had walked into custody on their own.
The office identified the couple as Erin Bailey Fudge and her husband, Kile David Fudge, who were listed in connection with a theft investigation. According to the department, both turned themselves in to deputies at 9:12 p.m.
What the sheriff's post said
The department's Facebook notice listed both suspects' names and dates of birth: Erin Bailey Fudge (DOB July 25, 2000) and Kile David Fudge (DOB Aug. 6, 2000). The post said they were wanted for "Theft of Property $10,000–$60,000," according to the Wilson County Sheriff's Office. The notice also included a tip line at 615-444-1412 ext. 3 and reminded the public that tips could be submitted anonymously. Deputies did not attach charging documents to that initial alert.
An update to the same post later stated, "At 9:12 p.m., both subjects turned themselves in," and confirmed that both individuals were in custody, according to the Wilson County Sheriff's Office. The social media update did not list booking numbers or court dates, and officials did not immediately release further details about the underlying investigation.
