Yuba County schools were put on lockdown after Yuba Gardens Elementary received a phone call threatening the school. The Yuba County Sheriff’s Office said there is no evidence of an immediate or credible threat beyond the call.
Deputies were stationed at each campus to keep students and staff safe. Some schools in the county chose to use a soft lockdown instead of a full one, as reported by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department's Facebook post.
As of 12:10 p.m., the lockdown has been lifted at all schools. After a thorough search and investigation, no threat was found.
