Fans of the Zac Brown Band have another opportunity to catch the group's signature blend of country and Southern rock this summer, as they return to Boston's Fenway Park. The Grammy-award-winning band is set to perform on August 2, during their "Love & Fear" tour which kicks off on July 17 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This tour will conclude on November 21 in Rosemont, Illinois, with the Boston stop being a particularly special one given the band's historical connection to Fenway Park—they hold the record for most consecutive sold-out shows at the venue with 14 under their belt.
The announcement was made earlier this week, with The Boston Globe detailing the band's upcoming tour stops and accompanying acts. Special guests Old Crow Medicine Show are slated to join the band in Boston, although other locations will see a variety of supporting acts like Grace Potter, Brothers Osbourne, and Fitz and The Tantrums. Zac Brown Band's ties to Fenway Park were further cemented when they were inducted into the Fenway Music Hall of Fame in 2022, a milestone that also coincided with the venue's 100th concert.
Securing tickets may require some quick action on the part of fans, with presales for Zamily fan club members beginning Wednesday, followed by a community presale on Thursday. The general public will have their shot at tickets starting Friday at 10 a.m. Fans desiring more information on tickets or wishing to register for the presales can do so by visiting the band's official website. In addition according to an announcement, the band's performance in Boston will be part of a larger 27-show tour that promises a mix of new album material, cover songs, and the classic hits.
"I can't wait to get this back on the road after an epic experience at Sphere," Brown said in a statement, as reported by Boston 25 News. He emphasizes the tour's commitment to high energy performances, promising fans an "unforgettable night." This new tour follows a fruitful history for the band, with six consecutive albums reaching the top 10 of the Billboard 200, and five consecutive albums debuting at #1 on Billboard's Country Albums chart.
Alongside the Zac Brown Band's upcoming concert, Fenway Park is also set to welcome 11-time Grammy winner Chris Stapleton for two nights on August 14 and 15 as part of his "All-American Road Show" tour. Stapleton will be performing in the company of special guests such as Zach Top and Allen Stone, adding even more musical firepower to Fenway's summer lineup.
