
Early Friday on the 5400 block of Wyalusing Avenue in West Philadelphia, what started as a dispute between two men turned into deadly gunfire. Police say a 40-year-old man was shot several times just after 2 a.m. and was pronounced dead at the scene. The shooter took off on foot and was last seen wearing a dark blue hoodie, black pants and black-and-white sneakers.

According to 6ABC Philadelphia, investigators say the gunfire followed an altercation between two men on the block. Anyone with information is urged to reach out to police, and as of Saturday afternoon, the station reports that no arrests had been announced.
