A 59-year-old Detroit man was injured Tuesday morning in a motorcycle crash on I-96. The crash occurred around 9 a.m. near Greenfield Road when the rider lost control and drifted over the solid yellow line onto the left shoulder. He was wearing a helmet and was taken to a local hospital, as per ClickOnDetroit. His condition has not been released.
FOX 2 Detroit reported that westbound local lanes of I-96 were temporarily closed following the crash, causing delays. The freeway has since reopened. Police said no other vehicles were involved. Metro South troopers continue to investigate the incident.
