An Aliquippa man is facing serious charges after a violent incident that left one woman stabbed and two other women in fear for their lives. Odell Mills, 45, is accused of aggressive acts that involved stabbing 32-year-old Naquaysha Gilliam of Ambridge and subsequently holding two other women against their will in separate apartments. The confrontation began at Towne Tower Apartments on Wednesday morning.
The Aliquippa Police were alerted to the incident at around 9:30 a.m., when they received reports of a stabbing on the fifth floor of the Towne Tower Apartments, as detailed by WPXI. Upon arrival, they discovered Gilliam, who had suffered multiple stabbings, and rushed her to the hospital for medical attention.
In their efforts to locate the perpetrator, investigators identified Mills who was shortly after found at Sheffield Towers. At this location, Mills was not only holding two women hostage but had also physically assaulted one of them. The Pennsylvania State Police report noted that the victims were deprived of their phones and faced serious threats from Mills.
Mills's apprehension was swift, and he now resides in the Beaver County Jail, facing charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, and false imprisonment among others, according to state police. Audacy has confirmed that additional information regarding these charges and the conditions of the women held against their will may be forthcoming as the investigation unfolds.
